I made a new friend today

I made a new friend today out and about on my daily walk — a red-tailed hawk. It was perched on a branch on a walking trail near Pepper Computer and we took a few minutes to examine each other. Much to the hawk’s indifference I was about 10′ away as I walked by and snapped the camera phone pic. I’ve seen it around and know where the nest is but this is the closest I’ve been so far.
