The Tanita BF-662-S showed up yesterday and, I have to say, it’s quite a piece of machinery! Setup and configuration for entering my and Kelly’s information into memory took all of five minutes. Unfortunately, the Tanita is much more accurate than the old scale so I’ve “gained” five pounds. Oh well…

Kelly has decided to give Atkins induction a try since Val, one of her friends, has started induction as well. We’ll see…right now the house has way too many junk foods and leftovers from previous parties and get togethers. I’ll need to bag everything up when I get home this evening and put all illegal foods into storage.

I’ll be picking up a Honeywell 17400 HEPA filter for another room of the house. Hopefully, with two running, that’ll take care of everything!

Amazing…Amazon actually has Honeywell 22500 replacement HEPA filters. I haven’t been able to find the filters locally and my current filter has been limping along for over three years now. Right now it’s quite…yucky.

Hopefully a new filter will help keep the cat hair and dust down in my computer room. While doing some reading I found out that replacing the carbon prefilter quite often and vacuuming it will extend the life of the more expensive HEPA filter.

Since I slipped up over the weekend I’ll be going back into induction again. It’s no big deal…I had been back on induction anyway. Either way, one slip up every one in a while won’t effect the diet in the long term so it’s nothing to beat yourself up over. As long as my trend line is still on a downwards slope of at least two pounds per week I’m totally happy. I’d like it to be up around three or three and a half pounds, but so be it.

Bah, I suck. Totally cheated today. Ohwell…down 50 pounds, I’m entitled to a slip here and there.

Looks like the Internet just broke. I can’t get to anything past pnap.net. Technology rocks. Narf.

In addition to the monthly Eat Watch charts, I also coded a full chart of my progress since the beginning. It’s just a temporary chart until I figure out the plotting a little better.
